PRE TRAINING CRUMPETS

COOK TIME: 5 MINUTES 

Crumpets are my go to pre training breakfast or pre game snack. I love them and they tick that simple carbohydrate box that you want before you train or play, due to them digesting quickly thus reducing any stomach issues and providing your energy quickly. 

My favourite crumpets are the sourdough crumpets from harris farm as they are SO thick and fluffy.

I mix up my toppings between 

  • PB and Honey
  • PB and Jam
  • Biscoff
  • PB, Banana and Honey

Usually pre training (if i have 60+mins) I will add a protein yogurt as seen below as this helps fill me up.

I always have a coffee if its breakfast too.
