PROTEIN ROCKY ROAD SLICE
PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES
SET TIME: 1-2 HOURS
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups Rice Bubbles
- 1 cup salted pretzels
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (I used @trueprotein WPI)
- 1 cup @mayversfood rocky road peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 block of your favorite chocolate (I opted for dark chocolate)
- M&Ms for topping
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Rice Bubbles, pretzels, and protein powder.
2. Gently fold in the peanut butter and honey until well mixed.
3. Melt the chocolate and incorporate it into the mixture.
4. Press the combined mixture into a lined square tin.
5. Top with M&Ms and place in the freezer to set.
6. Once firm, slice and store in the freezer!
NOTES
I love making this recipe around christmas time when I am getting into the festive spirit but also want to have a balanced snack on hand, which also makes it perfect for any time of year.
Feel free to use regular PB instead of the rocky road version, it will just lose the rocky road flavour kick.
