ENERGY OAT COOKIES
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 15 minutes
Makes: 20 cookies
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups quick oats
- *2 scoops vanilla WPI protein powder (3/4 cup)
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/5 cup almond milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and make a well in the centre.
- Pour in the wet ingredients and combine
- Line a large baking tray with baking paper
- Use a tablespoon to scoop out and evenly distribute your mixture on your tray
- Slightly flatten each cookie
- Bake for 15 minutes
NOTES:
You can store it in an airtight container in room temperature
*WPI = whey protein isolate which is an easy digesting form of protein and is low in fat and lactose
Protein of choice = true protein
Depending on how large you want your cookies you can use 2btsp for a serve
