ENERGY OAT COOKIES

Prep time: 5 minutes

Bake time: 15 minutes

Makes: 20 cookies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups quick oats
  • *2 scoops vanilla WPI protein powder (3/4 cup)
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/5 cup almond milk

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and make a well in the centre.
  3. Pour in the wet ingredients and combine 
  4. Line a large baking tray with baking paper
  5. Use a tablespoon to scoop out and evenly distribute your mixture on your tray
  6. Slightly flatten each cookie
  7. Bake for 15 minutes

NOTES:

You can store it in an airtight container in room temperature 

*WPI = whey protein isolate which is an easy digesting form of protein and is low in fat and lactose

Protein of choice = true protein

Depending on how large you want your cookies you can use 2btsp for a serve
