ENERGY BALLS

PRE TIME: 30 MINUTES

SET TIME: 1 HOUR (CAN EAT STRAIGHT AWAY)

MAKES 20 BALLS 

INGREDIENTS

- 2 cups oats

- 1 1/4 cups Medjool dates

- 1 cup vanilla protein powder (I used @trueprotein)

- 1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter

- 1/4 cup chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a bowl, soak your dates in hot water and set aside.

2. In a food processor, blend the oats and protein powder together.

3. Drain the dates, keeping the date water in case the mixture is too dry.

4. Add the dates and peanut butter to the processor and combine. If it is dry, slowly add in 1 tbsp at a time of your date water until your desired consistency.

5. Once combined, remove the lid and gently fold in the chocolate chips.

6. Roll the mixture into balls and store them in the fridge. Enjoy! :)

NOTES

These energy balls were super easy to make and ONLY 5 ingredients - perfect pre training snack.
