SWEET CHILLI CHICKEN CAESAR PITAS

PRE TIME: 20 MINUTES

COOK TIME: 12 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Sweet Chili Chicken Tenders
  • 1/2 piece of sourdough bread
  • 1 slice of ham or bacon
  • 1 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/4 cup mixed cabbage
  • 1/2 tomato

Caesar Sauce:

  • 2-3 heaping tbsp high-protein natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mayo (I used the one from Aldi)
  • 1/4 tsp minced garlic
  • Juice of 1/4 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

To serve:

  • Pita bread
  • Wrap
  • Sandwich

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cook the chicken in an air fryer at 200 degrees for 12 minutes. At the 6-minute mark, add the sourdough and ham.

2. In the meantime, prepare the dressing by mixing all the sauce ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside.

3. Once the chicken, bread and ham are cooked, transfer them to a cutting board along with the lettuce, tomato, and cabbage. Finely chop everything and mix using a knife.

4. Add the chopped mixture to the dressing bowl along with the Parmesan cheese.

5. I cooked my pita in the air fryer for 5 minutes and then filled it with the mixture (there was some left over, which I ate alongside the pita lol).

NOTES

I served mine in a pita, but you could also use wraps, sandwiches, or enjoy it on its own! :)
