Kangaroo Burgers

PREP TIME: 10 MINS

COOK TIME: 10 MINUTES 

INGREDIENTS: 

Kangaroo patties (from woolworths - I cook up all 4 but the remaining ingredients are for one sanga only)

  • 2 slices sourdough or bread/roll of choice
  • 2 tbsp natural yogurt 
  • 1 kangaroo pattie 
  • 2 slices thin block cheese (I use Bega's high protein cheese)
  • 1/2 tomato 
  • 4 slices beetroot
  • 2 pieces cos lettuce
  • 1 handful spinach 
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce (I use low sugar/salt)
  • 1 tbsp light mayo 
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Beetroot/onion relish 

Option: Serve with roasted potato chips on the side 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Prepare your kangaroo patties - I recently cooked min in the airfryer on 200 degrees for 10 minutes flipping half way through - alternatively cook in a pan 
  2. Toast your bread/roll or leave fresh 
  3. Layer your toast with yogurt, lettuce, pattie, cheese, tomato, beetroot, salt and pepper, sauce, mayo, beetroot/onion relish, and spinach
