
Kangaroo Burgers
PREP TIME: 10 MINS
COOK TIME: 10 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS:
Kangaroo patties (from woolworths - I cook up all 4 but the remaining ingredients are for one sanga only)
- 2 slices sourdough or bread/roll of choice
- 2 tbsp natural yogurt
- 1 kangaroo pattie
- 2 slices thin block cheese (I use Bega's high protein cheese)
- 1/2 tomato
- 4 slices beetroot
- 2 pieces cos lettuce
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce (I use low sugar/salt)
- 1 tbsp light mayo
- Salt and Pepper
- Beetroot/onion relish
Option: Serve with roasted potato chips on the side
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prepare your kangaroo patties - I recently cooked min in the airfryer on 200 degrees for 10 minutes flipping half way through - alternatively cook in a pan
- Toast your bread/roll or leave fresh
- Layer your toast with yogurt, lettuce, pattie, cheese, tomato, beetroot, salt and pepper, sauce, mayo, beetroot/onion relish, and spinach
