HONEY HALLOUMI
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chilli flakes (or more if you want it hotter)
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1/2 grind of lemon
- 1/2 juice of lemon
QUICK VERSION:
- 2 tbsp chilli honey (I love the Capilino brand)
- Lemon juice to serve
INSTRUCTIONS:

Slice up your halloumi

Combine all sauce ingredients in a container

Add halloumi and cover with the sauce as much as possible.

Shake if needed

Heat a pan and fry the halloumi on one side until golden.

Flip the halloumi pour the rest of the sauce over and cook until golden and caramelised.
QUICK VERSION:

Chop and fry your halloumi and drizzle with your chilli honey
NOTES:
You can store it in an airtight container in the fridge.
*I marinate my halloumi overnight for the strongest flavour but you can leave for an hour or follow a quick version
