PROTEIN LCM BAR

Prep time: 10 minutes

Makes 12-15 squares

INGREDIENTS 

Base

  • 2 1/2 cups Rice Bubbles
  • *1 scoop vanilla WPI protein powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup natural peanut butter

Icing

  • *1/2 block chocolate of choice

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large bowl combine the rice bubbles, protein powder and cinnamon
  2. Add in your honey and PB and combine
  3. Line a square tin with baking paper and press the mixture into it
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave for bursts of 30 seconds
  5. Once melted spread across the top and place in the freezer for 60 minutes or until set
  6. Slice up into desired size and store in your freezer

NOTES:

You can store in an airtight container in the freezer. 

*WPI = whey protein isolate which is an easy digesting form of protein and is low in fat and lactose

Protein of choice = trueprotein

Depending on how thick you want your chocolate layer on top you can use a whole block :)
