HIGH PROTEIN WEET-BIX SLICE

Makes 12-15 squares
INGREDIENTS
BASE:
- 10 x crushed Weetbix crushed
- 1.5 x scoops chocolate WPI Protein powder
- 1/4 cacao powder
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup hot water
ICING
- 2 rows chocolate
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein yogurt
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large bowl, crush your weet-bix
- Add in your protein powder and mix
- Add in your honey, peanut butter and water and combine whilst also squishing into a paste-like texture so it becomes smooth and no major chunks of PB are left
- Line a square tin with baking paper and press the mixture into it
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave for bursts of 30 seconds
- Once melted fold through your yogurt and mix until combined
- Spread icing over the mixture and place in freezer for 60 mins or until set
- Slice up and store in the freezer
NOTES:
You can store in an airtight container in the freezer.
*WPI = whey protein isolate which is an easy digesting form of protein and is low in fat and lactose
