BLACK BEAN BROWNIES

Cook time: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 cans of black beans 
  • 1/4 cup olive oil 
  • 1/2 cup almond milk 
  • 1/2 cup liquid sweetener (I used maple syrup)
  • 1 tsp vanilla 
  • 1/2 cup quick oats 
  • 1/4 cup chocolate collagen 
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder 
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 1/2 tsp salt 
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Rinse and drain your black beans.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor except the chocolate and salt. You may need to stop the blender a few times and shake it.
  3. Line a square baking tray
  4. Pour mixture in and top with chocolate.
  5. Swirl the chocolate in and sprinkle over your salt.
  6. Bake on 180 for 30 minutes.
  7. Let it cool before slicing unless you want it warm and gooey

NOTES:

I used TRUE PROTEIN chocolate collagen.

It will be gooey when it comes out but when it cools down it will go hard.
