TVP SAN CHOY BOW BOWL

Cook time: 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 packet TVP (texturised veggie protein)
  • 1 diced carrot
  • 1/3 red onion
  • 2 cups kale
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chilli garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup sweet chilli oil
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp miso paste
  • Serve with rice, lettuce, lime juice and sesame seeds

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Prepare your TVP according to packet instructions

  2. In a pan fry up your veggies in olive oil

  3. Once they are soft add in your TVP and combine.

  4. Then add in your sauce ingredients, combine, and let simmer for 5-10 minutes or until ready to eat 
    Served with rice, lettuce, lime juice and sesame seeds.

NOTES:

TVP = Textured vegetable protein, which is made out of soybeans. It can be utilized as a natural meat substitute that is high in protein with  27 grams per serve.

The measurements and ingredients can easily altered to suit your taste.
