HONEY HALLOUMI PITAS

PRE TIME: 20 MINUTES

COOK TIME: 10 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 block halloumi
  • 2 tbsp chilli honey

Homemade Tzatziki

  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • 1 small grated zucchini
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 juice lemon
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley and mint
  • 1 tsp olive oil

To serve

  • Wholemeal pitas (I air fried mine for 5 minutes)
  • 1 cucumber diced
  • 1 capsicum diced
  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes diced
  • Lemon
  • Caramelised onion hummus
  • Pickled onions
  • Mint and parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice the halloumi and pan-fry it with the chili honey until it turns golden brown.
  2. Combine all the tzatziki ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Fill your pitas with the above ingredients or get creative and add your own twist
